Time Scale
Appointments can usually be accommodated within 5 working days. We aim to return initial schemes & proposals within 5-7 working days of the design meeting but this varies depending on the scope of the design. We will be able to advise on time scales at the first meeting
Specification Package
Following the initial meeting you will receive a proposal and scope of works detailing the package we can offer you. These services can include:
- Mood boards
- Drawings illustrating types and positions of light fittings
- 3D renders and sketches
- Light calculations
- Lighting control system/circuit drawings and schematics
- Schedule of light fittings
- Efficacy chart (required for Building Regulation Part L compliance)
- Lighting control system specification
- Lutron, Crestron, AMX, iPad integration information
What Do We Need From You?
We require a set of scaled, architectural drawings for the room. Electronic versions are preferred in PDF, DWG or DXF format but printed copies can also be used
You will need to explain how you hope to use the space and let us know if there are any special requirements for the space. It will also be very helpful if you have an idea of how the space will be decorated and furnished
What Does It Cost?
Our initial design meeting is free of charge (locations outside London by request)
Following the meeting we will issue a ‘scope of works’ together with a fixed-fee quotation for our design services for your approval
Additional work outside of the ‘scope of works’ is charged at our day rate of £425 + VAT (charged on a pro rata basis)
Support & Order Management
Throughout your project, we will offer you telephone support and are always happy to discuss any queries you might have. When you are ready to procure the light fittings, our experienced team will be ready to take your order and organise a delivery schedule to suit your program
Free technical support is offered to your contractors on all specified products to ensure your project runs smoothly
Commissioning Lighting Scheme
Commissioning the lighting scheme is an important and often overlooked part of the lighting design. At the end of the project, Luxologie can attend site to ensure all light fittings are adjusted correctly and to assist in the set-up of the lighting control system when used. Standard day rates apply
